Adoption Action Incorporated is committed to advocating for reform of New Zealand’s outdated adoption laws and policies. By becoming a member, you’re supporting the rights and wellbeing of tomorrow’s children and all people impacted by an Adoption Order under the 1955 Act.
Why Join?
New Zealand’s adoption legislation hasn’t been meaningfully updated since 1955. It does not reflect modern principles of human rights, openness, and child-centered care. We’re working to change that — and we need your support.
As a member, you will:
- Support ongoing advocacy and legal reform efforts
- Receive updates on key developments, law reform proposals, and events
- Join a community of people passionate about adoption justice.
Membership subscription: $20 annually 1 April to 31 March

- Confirm your agreement with Adoption Action Rules
- Pay the membership fee via bank transfer (details provided in the form)
- Receive a confirmation email.

Adoption Action also gratefully accepts donations to support the important Adoption Law Reform mahi it undertakes. Donations can be made at the same time as membership subscriptions are made, or at any time, to the bank account number on the donations page.
